How to brew green tea

Barrington Tea loose leaf and green tea bags are best brewed with water temperature around 165-170 degrees F (73-76 C.)

Fill an empty kettle with fresh cold water and bring the water to a boil.  Rise out a ceramic teapot and set aside. Just before the kettle comes to a boil, pour ¾ cup of hot water into the teapot. Then swirl it around a few times and discard the water.

Now pour the hot water over your green tea into your teacup and let it steep for two minutes.  This is all it takes and any longer, the taste may become too bitter. It is also very important to NOT stir, shake, or mix the tea wile it is being steeped.  Now strain the green tea (for loose leaf) or remove the tea bag.

Now let it sit for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and now you are ready to enjoy!
